The town of Alpatró, in La Vall de Gallinera, celebrated this Saturday the fifth edition of Rural Pride, an event marked by its diversity, tolerance, and festive atmosphere.

The day, dubbed «Vall de GAYiNERA», began with a hiking excursion to La Foradà. The most emotional moment occurred in the afternoon at the Joan Pellicer Social Centre, where Valencian influencer Cabra Fotuda delivered a proclamation and monologue blending satire with pride.
Subsequently, the celebration moved to the streets with a grand rural parade. Cabra Fotuda toured the village on a tractor, waving rainbow flags, emphasizing the union between LGTBIQ+ identity and the culture of the interior. The procession featured commemorative t-shirts with cherry and rooster designs, and was energized by the rhythm of Benibatuka, which encouraged residents and visitors of all ages.
The afternoon concluded with a popular dinner thanks to the food truck «Carretera i Manta», followed by a party with music by DJ Gascó. With this edition, La Vall de Gallinera reaffirms itself as a benchmark for diversity visibility in rural areas.
