An 86-year-old woman was injured with contusions in a traffic accident on the AP-7 near Benissa, and was subsequently transferred to Dénia Hospital.

The road accident took place on Wednesday around 11:00 AM, when the CICU received notification of a car veering off the highway. The vehicle was traveling northbound, towards Dénia and València.
A Basic Life Support (BLS) unit was dispatched to the scene. The medical team attended to the 86-year-old woman, who suffered various contusions as a result of the impact.
After receiving initial care, the victim was transported to Dénia Hospital for a more thorough medical evaluation. Currently, the total number of occupants in the vehicle and the precise causes that led to it leaving the road have not been disclosed.
