Billiards in Dénia has marked a notable weekend at the regional level, with two important results in official competitions held last Saturday, April 18.

A player from the Club Straightpool Dénia was crowned absolute regional champion of Blackball, culminating a high-level tournament and consolidating himself as one of the references in this modality in the Valencian Community.

Meanwhile, a player from the Club de Pool Dénia y la Marina Alta achieved a meritorious third position, a bronze medal, in the Absolute Regional 9-Ball Championship, a discipline of maximum technical demand, confirming his good competitive form.

These results reflect the growth of billiards in Dénia, with a prominent presence in different modalities and an increasingly high level among its players.

Local clubs continue to work on promoting this sport and developing new talents in the Marina Alta region.
