Roadworks on the CV-425, connecting Buñol and Alborache, are adjusting their schedule to minimize disruption in the Hoya de Buñol region, with a full closure starting on June 21 and lasting less than initially estimated.

This change in planning follows a meeting between technical managers, the construction management, and municipal representatives, where measures were defined to address one of the most complex phases of the project. Among these, the reinforcement of activity by the contracting company stands out, which will incorporate new shifts and also work on Saturdays.
The reorganization will allow for a shorter period of traffic interruption, which had initially been set for one month. The postponement of the closure aims to avoid problems with school transport, one of the aspects that generated the most concern in the affected municipalities. Simultaneously, alternative routes that will absorb traffic during the weeks of closure will be improved to ensure safety and facilitate circulation.
During this period, specific restrictions for heavy vehicles and bicycles will also be evaluated on certain sections, based on technical criteria. Furthermore, measures will be coordinated to reduce the impact on services such as waste collection and transport. In the health sector, there are plans to establish a resource with permanent attention at a strategic point in the area for the duration of the works, with the aim of ensuring a rapid response to possible emergencies.
The intervention on the CV-425 exceeds six million euros and represents a comprehensive renovation of this key road for the internal connection of the region. The project includes the widening of the platform, the improvement of the road surface, and the adaptation of the layout to increase road safety. The action also incorporates environmental criteria, with measures for environmental restoration and emissions compensation, in a commitment to reduce the carbon footprint on the provincial road network.
