The Club Voleibol Xàtiva cadet female team is playing for its qualification to the 2026 Spanish Championship in the Autonomous Final held this weekend in Xàtiva's pavilion.

The top-level cadet female Autonomous Final will take place at the Xàtiva volleyball pavilion on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26. Four of the best teams from the Valencian Community will participate, aiming to win the autonomous crown and secure a spot to represent the region in the national championship in Almería, scheduled from May 19 to 24, 2026.
Once again, a Club Voleibol Xàtiva team has qualified among the best for an Autonomous Final, confirming the club's strong youth development program. Following the junior male and youth female teams' success in becoming autonomous runners-up and qualifying for the Spanish championships in Zaragoza and Extremadura, respectively, this weekend presents another significant challenge.
The Ahora Vóley Xàtiva team won the regular cadet female league in its second phase with 13 victories and one loss in 14 matches, accumulating 39 points. CV Elche secured second place with 37 points. Both teams earned direct qualification to the final. They will be joined by Salesianos de Elche and CV Mediterráneo de Castellón, who eliminated Playas de Benidorm and CV Almoradí in the third crossover phase. A highly contested final is expected, with open opportunities for all participating teams vying to represent the Valencian Community in the Spanish Championship. The Xàtiva players, coached by Bruno Pisciottano, Rafael Mora, and Quique Mateu Borox, approach the competition with great enthusiasm.
In the second senior female division, Xàtiva achieved a double victory last weekend, mathematically proclaiming themselves champions of Group 2 with two matches remaining in the regular league. They will soon face a new phase with preliminary qualifying crossovers, culminating for the winners in the promotion phase to the first autonomous division. On Saturday, the senior female players won against CV Cullera in Xàtiva by 3-0. On Sunday, they traveled to face CV Catarroja, a more challenging match they won in the fifth set by 2-3, coming back after losing the first two sets. Next Friday, they will play in Torrent, and on Sunday, they will travel to Albal.
In Performance Initiation, the Xàtiva cadet female zonal third division team lost to CV Algemesí in the first leg of the round of sixteen played in Xàtiva by 1-3. Next Saturday will be the return match in Algemesí, where the Xàtiva team will fight until the end. Additionally, the male and female Alevín teams of Xàtiva Voleibol have qualified for the third phase, positioning themselves among the top twelve in the male category and the top sixteen in the female category of the Valencian Community in their first year of competition. The event was held at the Sara Marín and María Diez pavilion in Elche, with great organizational success and ten simultaneous courts.
