This incident, which has occurred on previous occasions, indicates a lack of respect and education on the part of some individuals. The image of Marcos Sanchis, located at the Popular Party headquarters in Xàtiva, has been retouched with a short mustache, similar to that associated with Adolf Hitler, and one of his teeth has been stained.
It is a situation that has unfortunately happened many times before. And it continues to denote a lack of respect and education on the part of some.
This is not the first time such an episode has occurred. In June of last year, a large photograph of the popular spokesperson was also subjected to vandalism, with messages related to the resignation of Carlos Mazón and other offensive slogans.
Unfortunately, these acts of vandalism tend to occur cyclically, affecting headquarters or images that identify all types of parties. Offensive messages can also appear in other parts of cities, such as the graffiti recorded in Ontinyent at the end of last year, which included phrases like "kill socialists."
It is essential to always report these incidents, although it is often difficult to identify those responsible to hold them accountable for their actions.
