Navarrés will be the meeting point between companies and job seekers with the celebration of La Canal Emplea 2026, an employment fair scheduled for next Thursday, May 28th.

The initiative, promoted by the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP), in collaboration with LABORA, the Navarrés City Council, and the Mancomunidad de La Canal de Navarrés, aims to facilitate direct contact between the business community and job seekers, especially in a rural area seeking to strengthen its future opportunities.
During the event, held from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, attendees can learn about active job openings, submit resumes, and participate in interviews or selection processes. There will also be spaces focused on career guidance, entrepreneurship, and training, with personalized advice to improve employability.
The fair takes place in a context where La Canal de Navarrés maintains an economy rooted in agriculture and livestock farming, but where industry, services, and rural tourism have also gained importance. It is proposed as a tool to address challenges such as a lack of opportunities for youth and depopulation.
Participating companies and entities will represent sectors such as commerce, hospitality, socio-sanitary care, construction, the ceramic industry, food, and human resources. The event includes names like Decathlon, Adecco, Colisée, REMAX, Lácteos Romar, Gastro Lago, and Inserta Empleo, among others.
La Canal Emplea 2026 is part of the actions developed by the FVMP and LABORA to boost employment in the municipalities of the Valencian Community, with special attention to rural areas.
