During the month of March, the Metrovalencia network facilitated the mobility of 10,384,466 users. This figure includes 8,957,481 journeys on the six metro lines and 1,426,985 movements on the four tram lines. This volume represents a significant increase of 14.06% compared to the same period in 2025, when the railway network was partially affected by reconstruction works after the DANA. The busiest day was March 18, the eve of San José and Fallas, with 464,875 passengers.
Overall, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) recorded a total of 11,919,283 passengers in March, combining Metrovalencia users and the 1,534,817 from TRAM d'Alacant. The most used metro line was Line 3 (Rafelbunyol/Aeroport) with 1,995,181 customers. It was followed by Line 5 (Marítim/Aeroport) with 1,664,442; Line 1 (Bétera-Castelló) with 1,449,237; Line 2 (Llíria-Torrent Avinguda) with 1,391,226; Line 7 (Marítim/Torrent Avinguda) with 1,262,277; and finally, Line 9 (Alboraia Peris Aragó-Riba-roja de Túria) with 1,195,118 users.
For the tram service, Line 4 (Mas del Rosari-Doctor Lluch) registered the most movements with 749,958 journeys. It was followed by Line 10 (Alacant-Natzaret) with 378,482; Line 6 (Tossal del Rei-Marítim) with 269,027; and Line 8 (Neptú/Marítim) with 29,518 travelers.
In terms of station traffic, Xàtiva (connecting lines L3, L5, and L9) ranked first with 729,379 displacements. In second place was Colón (L3, L5, L7, and L9) with 574,203 users, and Àngel Guimerà (L1, L2, L3, L5, and L9) recorded 460,004 movements. Other prominent stations included Plaça Espanya (L1 and L2) with 403,888; Benimaclet (L3 and L9) with 260,244; Amistat (L5 and L7) with 252,035; Mislata (L3, L5, and L9) with 240,099; Avinguda del Cid (L3, L5, and L9) with 235,011; Torrent Avinguda (L2 and L7) with 229,592; and Túria (L1 and L2) with 228,728 validations.
In the metropolitan area, the five busiest stations were Mislata (L3, L5, and L9) with 240,099; Torrent Avinguda (L2 and L7) with 229,592; Paiporta (L1, L2, and L7) with 179,021; Aeroport (L3 and L5) with 149,990; and Torrent (L1, L2, and L7) with 149,690 movements. Among the tram stops, Pont de Fusta (L4) stood out with 112,556; Alacant (L10) with 105,503; La Carrasca (L4 and L6) with 81,551; Quatre Carreres (L10) with 69,618; and Benimaclet (L4 and L6) with 56,416 users. Finally, the TRAM de Castelló recorded 293,823 users in March 2026, with 9,607 expeditions.
