This action, framed within the Edificant Plan of the Generalitat Valenciana, has a base tender budget of 3,113,290.72 euros (VAT included). The investment will allow for a deep renovation of the educational center's facilities, aiming to improve accessibility, energy efficiency, installations, and outdoor spaces, reinforcing safety and quality for both students and teachers.

The Local Government Board has given the green light to the file, which will allow the works to be put out to tender through an open procedure. This initiates the administrative process that will culminate in the awarding of the works and their prompt commencement.

The project contemplates extensive intervention in the facilities of CEIP Juan XXIII, which has two differentiated buildings, Early Childhood and Primary, located on different plots near the barranco de l'Horteta. The works will allow for a profound renovation to improve the functionality, accessibility, and energy efficiency of the center.

Among the main planned interventions are the renovation of bathrooms and changing rooms, the installation of two elevators (one in each building) and new ramps to improve universal accessibility. Solar panels will also be incorporated, and facilities will be improved to reduce energy consumption, moving towards a more sustainable model. The complete renovation of the electrical installation and lighting systems, along with the renovation of patios and outdoor spaces, will complete the modernization. These actions will update facilities dating from 1975 (Early Childhood) and 1995 (Primary).

The project also includes measures to ensure the continuity of educational activity during the execution of the works. The installation of provisional prefabricated modules is planned to free up classrooms and spaces as the phases of the work progress, thus facilitating the continuity of teaching.
