Generalitat and Municipalities Collaborate on Income Tax Assistance

The Valencian Tax Agency will offer free advisory services in Paiporta, Ayora, and Ademuz for the 2025 Personal Income Tax.

The Generalitat has approved an agreement with the municipalities of Paiporta, Ayora, and Ademuz to facilitate assistance in preparing Personal Income Tax (IRPF) declarations for the 2025 fiscal year.

This agreement will allow the Valencian Tax Agency (ATV) to provide a support service to taxpayers, including the submission of declarations through the 'Rentaweb' service on behalf of third parties. Assistance points will be set up in these locations, where the ATV will offer personalized and free advice for these procedures.
In the case of Paiporta, the agreement responds to the exceptional situation arising from the effects of the DANA in October 2024, which advises maintaining reinforced personal attention resources for taxpayers. The objective is to facilitate compliance with their tax obligations and ensure adequate administrative support in a context marked by the consequences of this adverse weather event.
For Ademuz and Ayora, the agreement is justified by territorial and administrative reasons, due to the distance of these municipalities from other administrations of the State Tax Administration Agency. This circumstance advises strengthening in-person attention at the local level, to guarantee equality in access to public services and facilitate compliance with tax obligations for residents of both localities.
Through these agreements, the town councils will provide premises for taxpayer assistance during the month of June. The service hours will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 to 14:30 and from 16:00 to 19:00, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 15:00. The total number of service days will be agreed upon with each town council.
The Generalitat, for its part, will provide specialized tax personnel, as well as the necessary computer programs and equipment. The Valencian Tax Agency will also offer a telephone assistance service during May, and an in-person service 'Closer to you' from June 1st to 30th. This service will be offered at a total of 68 points, with 31 in the province of Valencia, 26 in Alicante, and 11 in Castellón.
Prior appointment, essential to receive the in-person assistance service, can be requested between May 29th and June 29th through the same channels as telephone assistance. In these offices, Valencian citizens will be able to obtain the necessary information about available tax measures and, if applicable, receive assistance for fulfilling their fiscal obligations.
