The Sedaví City Council has initiated the tender process for the construction of the new Public Adult Education School (EPA), an infrastructure that will involve an investment of 1,710,904.91 euros, fully funded by the State.

This new building will put an end to the use of prefabricated classrooms, which had to be demolished due to damages suffered by the DANA storm, and will offer a permanent, modern, and higher-capacity architectural solution. The technical project has already been drafted and has the approval of the Ministry.
According to municipal forecasts, once the works are awarded, the execution period will be one year. The future construction, designed with brick masonry to ensure durability, will improve the thermal and acoustic conditions of the center and expand common spaces and services to adapt them to the educational demands of the 21st century.

"Sedaví deserves facilities that last for generations and that convey to students that their education is a real priority and not a provisional solution."

The current school, located on Germanies Street, is a focal point of local activity. With over 450 students enrolled in 25 different courses, the EPA has had to adapt to various locations since its founding in 1981. Now, on the verge of its 45th anniversary, the center will finally have a definitive headquarters that will reliably accommodate the wide range of training it offers: from basic literacy and the Secondary Graduate Certificate to preparation for university access, languages, and digital skills.

"Effective learning is born from both the mind and the heart."

The school has consolidated itself as a driving force in the cultural life of Sedaví, participating in initiatives such as Voluntariat pel Valencià and the FES Educació conference. With this new investment in "human capital," the municipality recovers an essential service after the meteorological catastrophe and reaffirms its commitment to permanent education that serves as a tool for integration for immigrants and a second chance for those seeking to improve their professional future.
