This decree, which regulates the use of mobile phones in educational centers, has been key to this improvement. Furthermore, the figure of the welfare and protection coordinator in all centers of the Valencian Community has contributed significantly to these results.
“"The implementation of this new regulatory framework for coexistence is providing an effective response, as can be seen, to the needs of the educational system."
On the occasion of the International Day against School Bullying, the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Inclusion has sent an institutional letter to all centers, reinforcing the commitment to bullying prevention and recalling the importance of early and coordinated action. A repository of resources with prevention, intervention, and support materials has also been made available to the centers.
In coordination with the Ministry of Health, 22 early detection units for mental health have been launched, with the incorporation of 56 psychologists who exclusively serve the educational system. Since the beginning of 2025, more than 3,000 interventions have been carried out in educational centers.
In addition, a comprehensive action has been developed through the Cefire for Inclusive Education, Well-being and Mental Health, combining awareness and practical training spaces for teachers and the educational community. These actions aim to improve coexistence, prevent risk situations, and reinforce the emotional support of students, with special attention to the prevention of school bullying.
