The Mayor of Manises, Javier Mansilla, has made a public reappearance via a video on social media, expressing gratitude for public support and providing an update on his recovery following a myocardial infarction suffered last February.

In the video, posted this Saturday on his Instagram account, Mansilla stated that he is feeling well and that his health recovery process is progressing favorably. He emphasized the affection received from citizens and various groups.

"Above all, I wanted to thank all those people and groups who have not stopped calling me, sending me messages, or stopping me in the street to offer their support."

The mayor was admitted to the intensive care unit on February 20 due to the heart attack. The following day, the Manises City Council issued a statement informing that, despite the seriousness of the situation, Mansilla was conscious and stable, with a favorable evolution under medical observation.
Since then, the mayoral duties have been assumed by the first deputy mayor, Jesús Borràs, to ensure institutional continuity. These duties continue to be carried out by Borràs until Javier Mansilla makes a full recovery and can resume his responsibilities.
