The mayor of Manises, Javier Mansilla, has made a public reappearance this Saturday, April 11, through a video on social media, following a heart attack he suffered on February 20.

The first alderman of Manises, Javier Mansilla, has returned to public life via a video message shared on his digital platforms. In it, he expressed his gratitude for the support received and provided an update on his recovery after the cardiac episode he experienced over a month ago.
Mansilla was hospitalized on February 20 due to a heart attack and was discharged a week later, on February 27. Since then, he has been recovering at home, following medical advice, and had remained out of the public eye.

"I am still recovering from the health problem I had more than a month ago, and I wanted to thank all those people and groups who have not stopped calling me and sending me messages, or stopping me in the street to give me their support and encouragement."

The 45-year-old mayor assumed office in Manises in the last elections under the banner of the PSPV, leading a tripartite government with Compromís and Podemos. This is his final year with the mayoral staff, as the leader of Compromís, Jesús Borrás, will take over during the last year of the mandate, thus fulfilling the government pact.
The video concludes with a “see you soon,” suggesting his intention to return to political activity, although a specific date for his full reincorporation has not yet been announced.
