The Ministry of Justice has confirmed that the investigating judge of the DANA macro-case in Catarroja will continue to have staff reinforcement, ensuring the necessary means for the investigation.

The Ministry of Justice has committed to maintaining the staff reinforcement currently available to the investigating judge of the DANA macro-case. This case, which still has over 100 pending testimonies, will have all the necessary means for its processing.
This was announced by the Minister of Justice, Transparency, and Participation, Nuria Martínez, after a meeting with the president of the Catarroja Court of First Instance, David Castellá. Currently, the judge has four reinforcement officials, and both she and the Governing Chamber of the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV) had requested their continuation, as the reinforcement was valid until June 30.

"I have conveyed the firm commitment of the Generalitat to guarantee that the investigating judge of the macro-case continues to have the same material and human resources that she has had to date, as well as the same number of officials to be able to carry out the investigation under proper conditions and with adequate means."

The judge recently extended the investigation period for the procedure by an additional six months starting from April 30. Following this, the TSJCV proposed extending the court's reinforcement for six months to the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ), allowing the titular judge to focus exclusively on the investigation.
The minister assured that the DANA judge will "at no time" be left without any of the officials she currently has, preventing "an empty chair" during the staff stabilization process. She emphasized that the magistrate will always have the necessary reinforcements to continue advancing with the investigation.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the minister explained the staff stabilization process in justice, addressing the request of legal operators and trade unions. She highlighted that the stabilization of 200 out of the 438 positions that were reinforcements is good news for achieving a more modern, agile, and efficient administration for all Valencians.
