The Provincial Council of Valencia has opened the main section of the CV-370 road to traffic, connecting Manises with Riba-roja de Túria, as part of widening works aimed at improving road safety and capacity on this important metropolitan connection.

This opening is considered technical and is designed to allow circulation on the new main axis of the platform, while the remaining infrastructure works are completed. The measure seeks an immediate improvement in traffic flow on a road used by over 20,000 vehicles daily.
Once the project is finished, the Provincial Council will consider requesting the transfer of ownership of the road to the Generalitat. The objective is to focus its investments on secondary and regional roads, thereby optimizing resource management.
One of the pending steps to complete the action is the removal of several high-voltage towers by Red Eléctrica, a necessary intervention to finalize safety improvements in the area. The intervention on the CV-370 has been carried out in four phases, with the current one being the fourth and final, boasting a budget of 12.5 million euros.
This phase includes the duplication of the roadway with access control and the creation of service roads to separate local traffic from through traffic. The project also incorporates new roundabouts to improve access to urbanizations such as Montemayor, el Collado, and la Presa, as well as an underpass that channels the main trunk of the road.
The action also includes a cycle and pedestrian path, landscape restoration with vegetation, the installation of acoustic screens, and wildlife crossings. Additionally, improvements in drainage, lighting, signage, public transport, and the replacement of affected services, such as drinking water pipes, are included.
