The judge investigating flood management in Catarroja has summoned five more witnesses to testify, including Francisco Javier Soler, former Director General of Victim Assistance for the Generalitat.

The magistrate made this decision in a ruling notified today to the parties involved in preliminary proceedings 692/24, corresponding to court 3 of the civil and instruction section of the Court of Instance of Catarroja, as reported by the Valencian High Court of Justice.
In the same directive, the judicial administrator has set three days in September to take testimony from sixteen more witnesses. These testimonies are part of several proceedings related to fatalities and injuries.

The tragic flash flood caused the deaths of 230 people.
