The company Veolia has launched extraordinary cleaning and inspection campaigns in the sewage network of Aldaia, Picanya and Beniparrell to repair the damage caused by the DANA.

The works, funded by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, focus on the preventive and corrective cleaning of collectors, wells and storm drains. To carry out this task, vacuum trucks and high-pressure water jetting equipment are used, in addition to managing extracted waste such as sludge and gravel.
The project includes an exhaustive inspection of the state of the networks using television equipment and portable devices. The goal is to detect structural damage and record any incidents that may affect the service's operation.
The tender has been divided into three independent lots to adapt to the specific needs of each town. In the case of Aldaia, the execution period is 10 months with a budget of 169,037.00 euros. Meanwhile, Picanya has 90,229.70 euros for an eight-month period, while Beniparrell has an investment of 244,662.00 euros and an 18-month deadline.
