Reservations opened on April 23 through the Senior Citizen Care Office. By the end of the first day, only 18 spots remained for the first group, scheduled for May 7 and 8.
This call is aimed at retired individuals and those over 60 years old registered in the municipality. The program will run in four shifts: May 7-8, May 10-11, May 14-15, and May 21-22. Registrations will be formalized starting next Monday, April 27, at the municipal department responsible for this group.
The trip costs 59 euros per person, as it is subsidized by the council, and includes one night with full board at a four-star hotel. The program also includes a guided tour of various enclaves in Cartagena, with admission to the Roman Forum Molinete Museum, as well as a wine tasting at Bodegas Luzón.
“"These types of activities promote active aging and help combat unwanted loneliness by creating spaces for coexistence and support networks."
With this public response, the Paterna City Council once again confirms the high demand for leisure and coexistence proposals aimed at the elderly population of the municipality, an offer that the council maintains as one of its lines of action in terms of welfare and social participation.
