The Civil Guard intercepted and immobilized a truck loaded with oranges on the A-7, between Museros and Bétera, which had 26 serious technical defects and was circulating abnormally, causing traffic jams and a high risk to road safety.

The incident occurred on April 20, around 6:30 PM, when Civil Guard agents detected a truck driving obliquely on the highway, occupying the right lane and part of the left. This situation caused traffic congestion and forced other drivers to perform evasive maneuvers.
The swift intervention of the agents allowed the vehicle to be immediately stopped and removed from circulation to prevent a potential road accident with serious consequences. The truck, which was transporting oranges, was taken to an ITV station for an extraordinary inspection.
During the inspection, a total of 26 technical deficiencies were found, three of which were classified as “very serious” and 23 as “serious.” Among the most notable defects was a broken axle, a fault that critically compromised the vehicle's stability. The inspection resulted in an unfavorable outcome, leading to the truck's immobilization until all detected deficiencies are corrected.
The driver, a 64-year-old man, was reported for reckless driving and for several infractions of the General Vehicle Regulations.
