The Popular Party of Foios has launched a proximity campaign with information tents and posters to collect proposals and concerns from residents, aiming to build its political project for the 2027-2031 legislature.
Under the slogans “Can we improve Foios?” and “Foios, a project for everyone,” the Popular Party has set up information tents in various parts of the municipality and launched a poster campaign. The goal is to gather proposals, concerns, and needs from citizens to shape an electoral program that is “realistic, ambitious, and built together with the citizenry.”
“
"We are clear that in 2027 we are going out to win so that Foios wins. We want to build a common project and that is why we are launching these actions, to count on everyone. Foios deserves a change, a big change, and we are going to achieve it together."
This process begins more than a year in advance of the municipal elections in May 2027, in which the Popular Party of Foios aims to achieve an absolute majority. The campaign arises after noting the lack of action by the current government team, led by Compromís and PSOE, and the complaints raised by numerous residents.
The kickoff took place last Wednesday with the placement of posters bearing the message “Can we improve Foios?”, accompanied by a QR code leading to an online questionnaire. Through this channel, residents and visitors are invited to actively participate and submit their proposals to build a common municipal project.
The actions continued with the visit to Foios by the general secretary of the Popular Party of the Valencian Community, who held a working lunch with the local executive. Subsequently, party representatives toured the traditional Saturday market, where they collected neighborhood proposals and reported on the fiscal measures promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana to alleviate tax pressure.
“
"We are going to work town by town, tirelessly, to win in 2027. With the local leadership at the helm, the Popular Party of Foios has shown that this municipality deserves a change and that we are the only alternative capable of making it happen."
During Saturday's market day and through the enabled form, residents expressed various concerns related to municipal management. Among the main complaints are dirt in parks and streets, lack of street cleaning, and deficiencies in citizen services.
Likewise, criticisms have also been collected regarding the paralysis of municipal projects, such as the town hall works, with no progress after more than a year, as well as the non-compliance with promises and public discrepancies within the government team, which, in the opinion of residents, generate a feeling of disorganization.
