The Paterna City Council continues to promote the Baby Cheque, an initiative that since 2016 has benefited around 400 families each year, strengthening support for birth rates and local commerce.

This direct aid of 300 euros aims to alleviate the financial burden on families who have had, adopted, or fostered a child. To be eligible, it is an essential requirement to be registered in the municipality of Paterna.

"The value of this aid lies in its dual objective: to support families in the first months after the baby's arrival and, at the same time, to strengthen our local commerce."

In the previous call, a total of 366 baby cheques were issued, injecting almost 110,000 euros into Paterna's commercial fabric. This measure underscores the council's commitment to local economic development.
The call for the 2026 Baby Cheque remains open until November 30 of this year. Applications can be processed both through the municipal electronic office and in person at the Citizen Information and Service (SIAC), thus facilitating access for all interested parties.
