The mayor of Paterna, Juan Antonio Sagredo, accompanied by the Councilor for Education, José Manuel Mora, presented the diplomas to the awarded students in a ceremony held at the Antonio Cabeza Auditorium. The event brought together families, teachers, and management teams from the educational centers where the prize-winning young people study.
During his speech, Sagredo proudly highlighted the students' perseverance, commitment, and eagerness to learn, stating that "good results do not come by chance." For his part, Mora congratulated the students and emphasized the importance of education as a fundamental pillar for social development.
This event, organized by the Paterna council for years, aims to publicly acknowledge the students' effort and convey the pride of the entire city towards these exemplary young people. The awarded students come from various public, subsidized, and private educational centers in the municipality.
As an additional recognition, the awarded students will receive an individual A3 photograph, which will also be displayed on advertising supports (mupis) distributed throughout the municipality, to highlight the City Council's commitment to academic excellence and youth talent.
