Massamagrell Local Police have intercepted a 19-year-old driver who fled during a routine document check. The young man subsequently tested positive for alcohol.

According to police sources via their social media, the incident occurred when officers were conducting a document check and signaled a vehicle with two occupants to stop. Instead of complying, the driver accelerated sharply and fled at high speed, endangering the officers present.

Following the evasive maneuver, officers initiated a pursuit that concluded with the vehicle being stopped in the same municipality. The police intervention confirmed that the driver had exceeded the legal alcohol limit.
