Sagredo emphasized that each of the 51 decorated officers was "an essential part of that collective response," and highlighted the leadership of the Head of Local Police, Rafael Mestre, at the helm of an "exemplary, professional, and effective" force.
Special mention was also made to Superintendent José Miguel Colás for his professional career, on the occasion of his imminent retirement, highlighting his contribution to the relationship between the Local Police, the City Council, and the city.
For his part, Chief Commissioner Rafael Mestre thanked the solidarity and coordinated response of officials, workers, and managers of the public company GESPA, who, along with the Local Police, acted through the Municipal Emergency Center (CECOPAL) after October 29th.
