The Councilor for Finance, Roberto Usina, announced this Tuesday that the Mayor of Paterna, Juan Antonio Sagredo, has signed the order initiating the preparation of the next fiscal year's accounts. This positions Paterna once again among the first cities in the Comunitat Valenciana to begin the economic and financial planning for the following year.
The mayor emphasized that the objective is to "continue improving the lives of the residents of Paterna," which is why the budgets will once again prioritize "good public services, more security, more well-being, and more opportunities."
The new municipal accounts will maintain the City Council's commitment to Paterna families through the promotion of aid, scholarships, and municipal programs, consolidating the social support network and ensuring no resident is left behind.
Furthermore, the 2027 Budgets will allocate new resources to citizen security and emergency services. They will also include investments to continue improving street cleaning, waste collection, and recycling, aiming to enhance the quality of public services.
The Governing Team will continue to promote policies aimed at fostering job creation, economic activity, and attracting investments to consolidate Paterna's economic leadership and generate opportunities for companies, workers, and entrepreneurs.
The new accounts will also allow for the continued increase of municipal assets, a strategic line that has enabled the expansion of facilities, infrastructure, and public spaces for citizens over the past 11 years.
In educational and sports matters, the 2027 Budgets will continue to promote the improvement of facilities, buildings, and services to meet the needs of a constantly growing city.
Additionally, the new accounts will incorporate actions to adapt municipal buildings, green areas, and public spaces to the new climate reality, moving towards a more sustainable and efficient city. Initiatives such as the AIRE Plan, the air conditioning of public educational centers, and the expansion of the municipal climate refuge network will be promoted in this area.
The continuous improvement of citizen services, the modernization of municipal services, and the promotion of increasingly accessible, efficient, and sustainable mobility complete some of the main strategic lines for the new municipal accounts.
The Councilor for Finance, Roberto Usina, explained that "the 2027 accounts will continue to consolidate policies supporting families, security, cleanliness, employment, education, sports, mobility, and citizen services, strengthening the city model we have built over recent years."
Finally, Sagredo emphasized that "we will continue investing in people, in neighborhoods, and in the services our residents use daily, while maintaining responsible economic management that allows us to continue with Zero Debt."
