A reorganization of responsibilities within Moncada's municipal executive has strengthened the role of deputy mayor Amparo Orts and assigned the Fallas department to the new mayor, Álvaro Gonzalvo.

The arrival of Álvaro Gonzalvo as mayor of Moncada, following the agreed alternation between PSPV-PSOE and Compromís, has led to a reorganization of municipal responsibilities. Gonzalvo takes over the Fallas department, previously managed by Martín Pérez, and will retain his prior roles in Youth, Commerce, Market, and the Consumer Information Office (OMIC).
With this assignment, Compromís will lead the mayor's office and the Fallas department for the final year of the term. Deputy Mayor Amparo Orts sees her portfolio expanded with the departments of Tourism, Industry, and Innovation, previously held by Iván Bailach, and Personnel, managed by Ana Palanca. Additionally, she incorporates the Senior Area, formerly under Feliciana Bondia's responsibility. These new duties are added to those of Finance and Specialized Social Services, consolidating her influence within the executive.
The reshuffle also impacts the organization of the council chamber. Gonzalvo assumes the presidency of the municipal corporation. To his left are the auditor and Compromís councilors, followed by representatives from the Popular Party and Vox. To his right are the municipal secretary, Amparo Orts, and the socialist councilors, with the Citizens' spokesperson, Jesús Gimeno, occupying the last seat.
This new configuration marks the beginning of a new political phase in Moncada, with Compromís at the helm of the mayor's office and the PSPV managing key areas.
