“"Revalidating the two blue flags is a clear demonstration of the City Council's commitment to a well-maintained, accessible, and sustainable beach model. It is not a one-time recognition, but the result of constant work throughout the year to guarantee the best conditions for both residents and visitors."

The beaches of La Pobla de Farnals and Puçol will once again display their Blue Flags during the 2026-2027 period, a recognition of their continuous effort for quality and sustainability on the l'Horta Nord coastline.
This international distinction, awarded by the Association for Environmental Education and the Consumer (ADEAC), evaluates key aspects such as water quality, safety, environmental management, accessibility, and information available to users. The revalidation of these flags consolidates the image of quality of the nearby coastline, in a context where sustainability and services are crucial for attracting tourism.
The Tourism Councilor of La Pobla de Farnals highlighted the work of the municipal teams, from the tourism office to the brigade and technical office, who work throughout the year to meet increasingly demanding requirements. This recognition is also an opportunity for local commerce, especially for restaurants in the beach area.
In addition to the Blue Flag, the beaches of La Pobla de Farnals have various certifications that endorse their management, such as ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, UNE 170001-2 for accessibility, or UNE-ISO 13009 specifically for beaches, as well as the Qualitur distinction. This set of seals supports a model based on continuous improvement and excellence.
The bathing season will start in June, with all services ready to offer a safe, inclusive, and quality experience for both residents and visitors, in a summer that will once again feature the quality of its beaches.
