The race, organized in collaboration with the Club Esportiu Pobla and the City Council, combines sport, leisure, and a family atmosphere. The Councilor for Sports, Carmen Alcíbar, has highlighted the municipality's commitment to promoting sports for all ages.
The day will begin at 5:50 PM with a zumba masterclass, followed by free children's races at 6:30 PM, which are expected to attract around 200 children. Before the main race (8:00 PM), there will be a Latin dance masterclass at 7:15 PM to liven up the promenade.
The 5-kilometer circuit will run mainly along the promenade and the Pobla Marina area, with a short section through the urban center. As a novelty, a sprint finish will be introduced at kilometer 1.5, sponsored by the real estate agency Ireka, offering 100 euros to the first male and female runner who pass this point and complete the race.
The 5K is part of the Circuito Caixa Popular de l’Horta Nord. The event stands out for its inclusive and family-friendly nature, with children's registrations open even on the day of the race. Safety and the smooth running of the event will be guaranteed by the collaboration of volunteers, Local Police, and Civil Protection.
