On Sunday, April 19, Godella will celebrate Children's and Youth Book Day at the Villa Eugenia Art Center, with a cultural program designed to bring reading closer to children and families through various activities throughout the morning.

The program will begin at 10:30 AM with the presentation of the book Maruja, la bruja sin escoba, by Isolina Espinosa. This work invites readers to immerse themselves in the world of imagination and fantasy. Following this, at 12:00 PM, there will be a storytelling session titled Marieta i el mort, led by Carles Cano and Aitana Carrasco, combining narration and illustration to bring the story to life.
The day will continue at 1:00 PM with a theatrical performance of Matilda, based on the work by Roald Dahl. The adaptation will be performed by Rembombori Cultural, bringing one of the most beloved classics of children's literature to the stage.
This initiative, organized by the Department of Culture and the Godella City Council Library, aims to foster a love for reading from an early age and provide a meeting space centered around books, creativity, and play.
