The Fallas Museum of València has successfully concluded the initial phase of restoration and cleaning work on its ninots indultats, a crucial step for preserving the heritage of the Fallas festival.

This technical intervention, aimed at maintaining the figures saved from the flames over decades in optimal condition, has completed its first stage. The museum is now preparing to launch the second phase of this important conservation effort.
According to the center's forecasts, the technical recovery tasks will be fully completed by next summer. At that point, the global restoration process for all the pieces housed in its facilities will culminate.
The completion of these maintenance and consolidation works coincides with the city's festive calendar. The main objective is for the permanent exhibition to be in its best state of conservation for the reception of the new ninots indultats of 2026.
This will ensure that new additions coexist in a renovated space with appropriate conservation standards. The intervention covers both the ninots from the main Fallas and the children's Fallas, pieces that, due to their materiality—typically papier-mâché, polystyrene, or wood—require periodic cleaning and specific restorations to prevent deterioration caused by time and public exposure.
