The National Police has dismantled two criminal groups of Georgian origin in València, arrested for their involvement in thirteen forced burglaries in inhabited homes during Holy Week.

A total of eight men, aged between 27 and 40 years, have been arrested as alleged perpetrators of these crimes. All are currently in provisional prison, as reported by the National Police.
During the operations, agents seized numerous tools used to force locks and recovered jewelry, cash, electronic devices such as computers and tablets, and prestigious brand accessories. The Provincial Judicial Police Brigade of València is managing the return of the recovered items to their rightful owners.
The first operation took place on Good Friday, when a resident of the Patraix neighborhood alerted the Local Police about strange noises. Officers intercepted three men inside a home and a fourth guarding outside. Subsequently, a fifth member was arrested at their rented residence. This group was linked to nine burglaries, five completed and four attempted, and its members were remanded in provisional prison.
The second intervention occurred on Easter Monday morning, again thanks to citizen cooperation from another Patraix resident. Officers arrested two men as they tried to flee and a third hiding in a dead-end alley. Jewelry, cash, tools such as lock picks and crowbars, and socks used as gloves were seized from them. This group is involved in four burglaries, two completed and two attempted, including one in the town of Sueca where they accessed a home with a minor inside. All three also entered provisional prison.
