The Torreblanca City Council is transforming the former municipal nursery into a modern sociocultural center, with an investment of 700,000 euros, to enhance services and spaces for citizens.

This initiative, driven by the council and significantly funded by European Next Generation funds under the Public Building Rehabilitation Impulse Program, aims to provide the municipality with renovated facilities adapted to current needs.
The intervention includes the comprehensive adaptation of the old building to make it a reference point for associative life in Torreblanca. The former nursery premises will house various rooms for local associations, offering each group its own functional space to carry out daily activities, hold meetings, and organize initiatives. In addition to the main building's rehabilitation, the project also includes improving the exterior environment for broader use.

"This is an important project for Torreblanca, because it allows us to clearly improve the services we offer our neighbors, while giving new life to a municipal building."

Tania Agut · Mayor of Torreblanca
Agut emphasized that this infrastructure will contribute to strengthening the social and associative fabric of the municipality. She stated that they want associations to have dignified, comfortable, and prepared spaces to carry out all their activities, as they are an essential part of life in Torreblanca, and this building will become a place for meeting, coexistence, and participation for everyone.

"We are very satisfied with the progress of the works, which are proceeding at a good pace and bring us closer to making a much-anticipated infrastructure a reality for the municipality."

Rosana Villanueva · Councillor for Urban Planning
