Roads in the Valencian Community are experiencing over 50 kilometers of traffic jams due to several accidents and heavy traffic during the Easter return operation, primarily affecting the provinces of Valencia and Alicante.

According to data from the Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT), the A-3 is one of the most affected routes, with 20 kilometers of congestion between Requena and Siete Aguas in the direction of Valencia. This situation is attributed to an accident and the high volume of vehicles connecting the Valencian Community with Madrid.
On the AP-7, a vehicle fire has caused another 20 kilometers of traffic jam between Gandia and Tavernes de la Valldigna, also heading towards Valencia. The same highway, near Paterna, accumulated up to nine kilometers of congestion in the direction of Barcelona during the morning, although it has now reduced to about three kilometers.
The province of Alicante is also experiencing complications, with the A-31 reporting about 10 kilometers of traffic jam between Sax and Villena in the direction of Madrid, due to intense traffic. In Castellón, traffic is more fluid, although an accident near Burriana did cause a two-kilometer traffic jam towards Tarragona, which has since normalized.
The special operation launched by the DGT for Easter will conclude at midnight tonight, as Monday is a public holiday in several autonomous communities, including the Valencian Community.
