The Second Vice President and Minister of the Presidency, José Díez, presented the decree law this Tuesday in a plenary session. According to Díez, the measure “will extend aid and ensure public support that reaches all those affected,” as many have not been able to acquire their habitual residence within the initially foreseen period.
“"This measure is one of justice and real reparation for those affected."
Opposition groups, Compromís and the PSPV, have expressed their support for the measure. The socialists have indicated that it responds to a “lack of foresight” on the part of the Consell. For its part, the Partido Popular has affirmed that it is a measure of “justice and real reparation,” while Vox has celebrated that it will allow those affected to return to normality “as soon as possible.”
The same decree law also modifies the regulation of the autonomous section of the IRPF to include a one hundred percent tax bonus on the transfer of extensive livestock farms, in order to favor their transmission and generational handover.
