The province of Valencia is participating for the first time in the Seatrade Cruise Global Miami 2026 fair, from April 13 to 16 in Florida, to position the territory as a complementary tourist destination for cruise travelers.

This initiative, promoted by the Diputació de València in collaboration with the Port Authority of Valencia (Valenciaport), is part of the provincial strategy for 2026, focused on international promotion and the diversification of the tourism offer.

"To leverage the potential of cruise traffic arriving in the city of Valencia to generate opportunities in the province, especially in inland municipalities."

Pedro Cuesta · Deputy of Tourism
During the fair, the province of Valencia will have its own space where meetings will be held with tour operators, shipping companies, consultants, and institutional representatives of the sector. The goal is to identify market trends, consolidate commercial alliances, and integrate the province's tourist experiences into the excursions of cruise passengers arriving at the port of Valencia, strengthening its presence in strategic markets such as North and South America.
One of the key moments will be the official presentation that the Diputación and Valenciaport will make on April 15. This presentation will highlight the province as a sustainable, diverse, and complementary destination to the capital, offering authentic experiences linked to culture, gastronomy, and heritage. The event will be complemented by a gastronomic promotional action, with a tasting of traditional rice dishes and fideuà, accompanied by Valencian wines and cavas.
The Diputación has been working with companies and destinations in the province to design products adapted to cruise tourism, combining cultural, heritage, gastronomic, and nature proposals. This strategy aims for the impact of cruise tourism to extend beyond the port area, contributing to the economic development of the municipalities and consolidating a more sustainable and balanced tourism model.
