The event will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM, a commemorative day highlighting the auditorium's trajectory and its role as an open cultural space. Free tickets will be available from Friday, April 24, starting at 10:00 AM.
Leading the Orchestra of Valencia will be its principal and artistic director, Alexander Liebreich, accompanied by French violinist Renaud Capuçon, a prominent figure in the international scene and artist-in-residence for the current season. Capuçon was recognized as 'Artist of the Year' at the ICMA 2024.
The program offers a musical journey through French Romanticism and Impressionism. It will begin with Maurice Ravel's Une barque sur l’océan. Following this, Renaud Capuçon will perform Henri Dutilleux's L’arbre des songes. The second part will feature Camille Saint-Saëns' Symphony No. 3 'with organ', a monumental work that incorporates the organ into the orchestra. Valencian organist Pablo Márquez Caraballo will also participate in this final section.
Tickets are free, with a maximum of two per person, and will be available from Friday, April 24, at 10:00 AM. They can be acquired both on the official website of the Palau de la Música and at the venue's physical box offices. It is advisable to be prompt, as these types of concerts usually sell out quickly.
