The events occurred this Monday around 6:15 PM. The alleged perpetrator presented himself at the police facilities with blood-stained hands and confessed to having ended another man's life. Agents from the Homicide Group of the Provincial Brigade of Judicial Police and Scientific Police went to the scene, where they confirmed the victim's death and took charge of the investigation.
The victim was a 32-year-old speech therapist who was treating the detainee's two-year-old son at a clinic located in the Marxalenes neighborhood. According to information from the newspaper Levante-EMV, the father reportedly returned to the consultation before the scheduled time and found the minor without a diaper and with his pants down. Faced with the situation, he allegedly demanded the professional show him the security camera recordings and, after an argument, attacked him with a bladed weapon.
The National Police are keeping the investigation open to fully clarify the facts and the motive for the crime. After the assault, the young man reportedly left the premises with his son and headed to his home in Burjassot. He later turned himself in at the police station in this municipality, where he confessed the crime to the officers.
The statement triggered a police operation, which located the victim deceased at the clinic. The duty court and the forensic doctor went to the scene, and the body was taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Valencia for an autopsy. The investigation remains open, and the Homicide Group is working to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
