Boost Air, formed from the integration of Gestair, Brok-air, and ATS Aviation, will now be able to operate new aeronautical facilities for the housing and maintenance of aircraft, both its own and for third parties. The project is estimated to generate around 400 direct and indirect jobs once the development and operation plan is finalized.
The awarded plot spans over 33,000 m2, with 20,000 m2 designated for the hangar and facilities area. This new infrastructure will be added to the 12,000 m2 of the new hangar already planned for Barajas, bringing Boost Air's total hangar space to over 80,000 m2 in the short term.
Boost Air's General Director, Miguel Ángel Morell, highlighted that "this award reinforces our roadmap to consolidate a leading aeronautical industrial platform in Spain and internationally." He added that "Valencia is a strategic location, and this project will allow us to expand capacity, reach new clients, and continue developing our integrated model of aeronautical services."
The formalization of the award will be carried out through a Public Deed, with mandatory and constitutive registration, in accordance with the conditions set forth in the Real Right of Surface, and its duration will be 20 years from the Delivery Act.
This project will enable Boost Air to expand its infrastructure network in Spain, where it already has operational facilities in key locations such as Madrid-Barajas, Cuatro Vientos, Málaga-Costa del Sol, and Castellón. With this award, Valencia joins the group's growth map as a high-value hub to strengthen its industrial and operational capabilities.
The future facilities will be dedicated to housing and maintaining aircraft. The project also includes the paving of an adjacent area for taxiing and parking, as well as functions related to the hangar, excluding maintenance on this external surface.
