The Comunitat Valenciana is bracing for a weekend marked by a significant weather shift, bringing light rainfall, a notable drop in temperatures, and episodes of intense winds, particularly in northern Castellón.

According to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), Saturday will start with cloudy intervals that will increase throughout the afternoon. Light precipitation is expected by the end of the day in the northern half of the territory, while in the rest, it could be more scattered. Additionally, the presence of suspended dust is anticipated.
Minimum temperatures will remain stable, but maximums will decrease, albeit slightly on the northern coast. The wind will blow from the northeast on the coast of Alicante and will be light and variable elsewhere, predominantly from the east. In the afternoon, it could intensify sporadically and, by the end of the day, will shift to moderate northeast on the central coast and moderate northwest in Castellón, where very strong gusts are not ruled out in the north.
Sunday will be dominated by very cloudy skies with precipitation that will subside towards the end of the day. The snow level in the northern interior will drop to between 1,000 and 1,300 meters during the second half of the day. Temperatures will experience a generalized decrease, notably for maximums. The wind will be from the northwest, moderate and with very strong gusts in Castellón, while elsewhere it will be light with moderate intervals.
For Friday, a start with partly cloudy skies was expected, with cloudiness increasing by the end of the day in the southern half. In the morning, mists and fog banks could form in coastal areas of Valencia and Castellón, while in the afternoon, suspended dust was anticipated in the southern half. Temperatures would rise slightly, except in the northern third where they would barely change. The wind would be moderate from the northeast on the coast of Alicante and light variable elsewhere, shifting to east and southeast in the afternoon, with some moderate intervals in Alicante and the interior of Valencia.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in the provincial capitals were: in Castellón, a maximum of 24.3ºC and a minimum of 14.2ºC; in València, a maximum of 23.7ºC and a minimum of 13.9ºC; and in Alicante, a maximum of 25.7ºC and a minimum of 13.8ºC.
