The Port Authority of Valencia (APV) has begun the tender process for the rehabilitation of the metallic structure of the elevated promenade at the Port of Valencia, located in the La Marina area.

The project, promoted by the APV, has a budget of 2,257,841.15 euros (VAT included) and an estimated execution period of 15 months. The main objective is to repair and improve the conditions of this public-use space within the port area.
The works include the cleaning, repair, and treatment of the metallic structure to enhance its preservation. Benches and the pergola near the port's access entrance will also be repaired. Furthermore, elements related to the safety and functionality of the pedestrian route will be improved and reinforced, including access stairs and railings, as well as lighting.
The tender also incorporates special environmental execution conditions. To promote the use of renewable energies, the use of electric generators and compressors powered by thermal engines will be avoided. Materials suitable for reuse must be managed by an authorized entity.
