The Valenciaport Foundation is organizing an open day on May 6 to present the 35th edition of its Master's in Port Management and Intermodal Transport (MGPT), a program with a near 100% employment rate.

This program, set to begin in October 2026, is an official degree from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and owned by the Port Authority of Valencia (APV). The Foundation highlights it as the most internationally prestigious postgraduate program in logistics and ports taught in Spanish.
The new cohort will focus on the major current challenges of global trade, including digital transformation, energy transition, and innovation in the use of virtual reality technologies.

"The MGPT is currently the most internationally prestigious postgraduate program in logistics and ports taught in Spanish."

The open day will not only detail the curriculum and scholarship opportunities but will also offer an immersive experience. Following the technical session, attendees will take a boat tour of the Port of Valencia to gain firsthand knowledge of the terminals and infrastructure that serve as a «real classroom» during the course.
The program is characterized by its eminently practical approach, including over 25 visits to port facilities in Valencia, Alicante, Castellón, and Sagunto, outdoor training activities, and an international module in London. The 600-hour training combines the knowledge of a faculty of over 70 international executives with experiential methodologies.
As a new feature for this edition, the program will integrate the use of the Valencia Cargo Expert (VCE) simulator, a virtual platform of simulated companies developed by the Valenciaport Foundation that allows students to practice real documentary management for a freight forwarder. Students will also undertake practical training in the railway simulator and explore virtual and immersive reality scenarios applied to port operations, complementing the use of the ValenciaportPCS technological platform.
The registration period is now open and is aimed at both recent graduates (Business Administration, Law, Engineering) and active professionals seeking to advance their careers. Places for the open day are limited, so prior free registration through the Valenciaport Foundation is required.
