Doctors in the Valencian Community have been called to a sit-in and subsequent demonstration in Valencia on April 29, as part of a new week-long strike to demand improvements in the working and professional conditions of the collective.

Between April 27 and 30, the State Confederation of Medical Unions of the Valencian Community (CESM-CV) has called a strike that will also have a national scope. This protest seeks to highlight the demands of the medical collective given the current situation of the public health service.
As part of this mobilization, doctors are called to a sit-in on April 29 at 6:00 PM in the Plaza de la Reina. Subsequently, at 7:00 PM, a demonstration will begin, marching through the city streets to the Palau de la Generalitat, coinciding with similar actions across Spain.

The medical professionals demand improvements in aspects related to workload, lack of human resources, job insecurity, and the need to guarantee quality healthcare.

The organizers have indicated in a statement that the strike is aimed at all doctors in the public health system. They have also assured that minimum services will be established in accordance with current regulations to guarantee essential patient care during the days of the protest.
