The city of Valencia offers a literary journey through Ernest Hemingway's perspective, covering emblematic sites such as the Post Office building, some restaurants in Malva-rosa, train stations, and the Micalet. These routes, initially designed last year, are available again on upcoming Fridays.
The guided tours, conducted in Valencian, will explore the historic center, stopping at locations like the Hotel Excelsior, Royal, or Reina Victoria, the North Station, the bullring, the Post Office building, the City Hall, El Siglo and Ideal cafes, and the Micalet, among others.
The second itinerary will focus on the maritime area, including El Grao station, Chaves urinal, La Pepica restaurant, Las Arenas beach, the Slaughterhouse, and the Casa de los Bous, as detailed by municipal sources.
The Councilor for Tourism of Valencia, Paula Llobet, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the municipal commitment to boost cultural tourism and highlight the legacy of a universal literary figure and his connection to Valencia.
The first route, focusing on the city center, will take place on Friday, June 12th, at 7:00 PM, departing from the Town Hall Square. The second route, along Malvarrosa beach, is scheduled for Friday, June 19th, also at 7:00 PM, starting from the Les Arenes spa. Both activities will be conducted in Valencian.
