The Valencia Provincial Council has allocated an investment exceeding 200,000 euros to the municipalities of the L'Horta region, aiming to improve forest fire prevention in the area.

This economic distribution will benefit numerous local councils, considering factors such as municipality size, forest mass extension, and the existence of specific prevention plans. The initiative seeks to strengthen the capacity of local governments to address fire risks.
Among the aid granted, the municipality of Alaquàs will receive 5,000 euros. Meanwhile, Alfara del Patriarca will be the locality with the largest allocation, close to 24,000 euros, demonstrating the program's flexibility to adapt to the needs of each town.

"This program has been designed to be more useful, more intelligent, and deeply connected with the reality of our town councils."
