The Valencia City Council has installed a new traffic light at the intersection of Castielfabib street and Tirso de Molina avenue, in the Campanar neighborhood, to improve road safety and facilitate traffic flow.

This new device responds to a request from the residents of Campanar, who had expressed the need to regulate the passage of vehicles and pedestrians at this point. The Municipal Mobility Service was responsible for the installation.
The traffic light has been located precisely where the Mercado de Campanar shopping center is situated, thus facilitating the incorporation of motorized traffic from Castielfabib street to the left bank of the old Turia riverbed. The regulation is coordinated with the pedestrian crossing and the bike lane at the intersection.

"The Valencia City Council had received neighborhood complaints about the difficulty previously involved in vehicles joining this main road, Tirso de Molina avenue."

To access the avenue, motor vehicles had to cross a pedestrian crossing and a bike lane separated by only a few meters. The traffic light regulation will enhance road safety for both drivers and pedestrians.
Furthermore, to facilitate the smooth flow from this exit, a second traffic light has been installed on Tirso de Molina avenue itself, and the traffic light phases have been appropriately coordinated between Castielfabib street, Campanar avenue, and Tirso de Molina avenue.
