The city of València will host the twenty-fifth edition of the Kite Festival at Cabanyal Beach on May 3rd, a consolidated event offering a day full of color and activities for all ages.

This event, initially scheduled for April 12th and postponed due to a weather alert, will take place throughout the day, from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Access is free for all citizens, making it an ideal proposal for family enjoyment.
During the festival, the sky above the Valencian coast will be filled with all kinds of kites, from traditional models to giant, acrobatic, and three-dimensional kites. A large flying area will be set up for the occasion, where specialized pilots will offer exhibitions combining spectacle and technique in a unique setting by the Mediterranean Sea.
The program also includes free children's workshops, where youngsters can learn to build and fly their own kites. These activities aim to foster active participation and learning through play, introducing this practice to new audiences. Along with the free flying zones, the festival is presented as a leisure option designed for all ages.
Organized by the Municipal Sports Foundation of València, the Kite Festival has established itself as one of the most unique events on the local calendar. Each year, it brings together thousands of people, including residents and visitors, thanks to its open, participatory, and visual nature, which revitalizes the seafront and promotes active leisure in a privileged natural environment.
