CA Safor Teika has been recognized as the club with the highest score, receiving a grant of 12,000 euros. In second place, CD Metaesport will receive 8,000 euros, while CAVA Ontinyent takes the third prize with 5,000 euros.
The general director of the Valencia Marathon, Juan Manuel Botella, highlighted the importance of sports schools as the future, acknowledging their budgetary limitations. He expressed the Valencia Marathon's desire to contribute to improving this situation, having already reached seven schools in two years and encouraging other clubs in the province to participate in future editions.
The main objective of this program is to boost grassroots athletics in the province of Valencia through direct subsidies. The Sociedad Deportiva Correcaminos aims for the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich to serve as support for younger athletes, improving resources in the youth categories (under-12 to under-20).
The budget allocated to this initiative comes from the funds of the 'Comparte Maratón Valencia' project, which for 2026 has approximately one million euros.
