The National Police have arrested six men in Valencia, aged between 25 and 41, for their alleged involvement in a tumultuous fight and a subsequent violent robbery recorded on April 9 in a public street.

The investigation, carried out by officers from the Trànsits District Police Station, began following a fight between two groups on Bilbao Street, around 7:30 PM. During the altercation, those involved threw stones and chairs, creating a serious risk for pedestrians in the area.
Police inquiries determined that, three days later, some of the participants in the brawl met again in a new violent episode. On this occasion, some of those involved allegedly acted in retaliation against members of the other group, using bladed weapons and sticks to intimidate them.
During this action, they managed to steal a mobile phone from one of the victims, which led to an investigation for violent robbery being added to the initial offenses. The operation included a search of premises on Bilbao Street, in which the National Police Canine Unit and the Local Police of Valencia participated.
During the intervention, several people were identified, and reports were filed for possession of narcotic substances, among other infractions. Finally, the National Police proceeded to arrest six men as alleged perpetrators of a tumultuous fight, and two of them are also accused of violent robbery.
The detainees, who have police records and included two individuals in an irregular situation in Spain, have already been placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
