Services Sector Turnover Increases by 1.2% in Comunitat Valenciana in February

The increase in Comunitat Valenciana is 0.4 points below the national average of 1.6%, according to INE data.

The services sector in the Comunitat Valenciana recorded a 1.2% increase in its turnover last February compared to the same period of the previous year, according to data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

This increase in the Comunitat Valenciana is 0.4 points below the national average, which reached 1.6%. At the state level, regions such as Murcia (+5.9%), Navarra (+5.8%), and La Rioja (+5.7%) experienced the most significant increases during February.
In contrast, Galicia, Madrid, and Castilla y León registered the sharpest declines, with decreases of 3.4%, 1.2%, and 1.1% respectively, in the services sector's turnover.
So far this year, the services sector's turnover in the Comunitat Valenciana has grown by 0.5%, a figure that is also 0.4 points below the national average of 0.9%.
Regarding employment, the index in the services sector of the Comunitat Valenciana experienced a positive variation of 1.0% compared to the same month of the previous year. The annual employment index rate was favorable in all autonomous communities, with the sole exception of Castilla-La Mancha, which recorded a slight decrease of 0.14%.
